The beginning of this new year has been marked by the arrival of 3 new members in our association :
The GY-80 160 HP serial 112, call sign HB-DCQ, is based in Switzeland at Birrfeld (LSZF) in the “Canton d’Argovie”. This aircraft was formerly registred in France F-BMUN. Its owner flies also on a PA-18 Super-cub and on a Mooney 20J.
D-EDHR (c/n 197, 180 HP) has a new French owner. Previously based in northern Germany near Bremen, this GY80 will now be based in Chartres (LFOR). It is expected it will retain its German registration.
Finally, the GY-80 G-BJAV serial 28 with a 160 HP engine, has been purchased in Great Britain by 2 French pilots. After few restorations, it will get again the French registration F-HIGG and will be based at Melun-Villaroche (LFPM) near Paris. This GY-80 was in the past registred successivelly with French F-BLVB, Netherland OO-AJP then English G-BJAV and now French F-HIGG. |
Welcome to these new members and their proud flying machine, and we hope to see them to ou next meeting at Biscarosse.
We will whish you many nice flights on spring which will coming soon !

Perhaps the translation should be:
” D-EDHR ( c/n 197, 180 HP) has a new French owner. Previously based in northern Germany near Bremen, this GY80 will now be based in Chartres (LFOR). It is expected it will retain its German registration.
Hello,
I see on the “English” version of the “3 new members join APAG”….
the caption (words) for the red GY80 D-EDHR should read:
The new owner of the GY-80 D-EDHR No. 197, 180 HP, is French and will be based in Chartres (LFOR). He was previously based in northern Germany near Bremen. It should retain its German registration.
Hi Allan,
Thanks for your comment. Indeed, the text for HB-DCQ was duplicated for D-EDHR.
This is corrected now.
